To characterize a small apartment in the heart of Milan, we have chosen a single decorative material for the walls: the Marmur Fine by Novacolor.
It is a lime plaster and mass-colored marble powders and allows to obtain cloudy aesthetic aspects, with soft and vibrant colors.
Thanks to its versatility, Marmur Fine allows for the creation of different textures, depending on the application technique used.
Simply brushed in our case, but with a choice of dual shades to distinguish the kitchen and bedroom environments in shades of sage green, from those of the bathroom in shades of beige in accordance with the coatings.
VIA SAVONA
For a bathroom that wants to be a small oasis of relaxation, the choice of floors and walls has fallen on Ardoise, slate-effect porcelain stoneware by Rex, a collection that recalls a split slate, a typical stone of Northern Europe, but also widespread in France and Belgium.
The materiality is the protagonist of the collection: to the touch the tile appears rough, the sensation is that of touching the stone just broken, but the delicacy of the chosen colors gives a strong sense of light to the space in contrast to the hardness of the stone. The size used in the project for both floors and walls is 30.4x60.8 in the colors Plomb, on the floor, and Blanc on the wall, while for the shower a mix of the same colors was opted for to which a third, the Gris, which mediates between the two tones already present in the rest of the room.
VIA CRISPI 57
The renovation project of a small two-room apartment on the Amalfi Coast is summarized in the moodboard "Voglia di mare" which embodies the essence and vocation of this environment that will welcome the many admirers of the renowned tourist resort for a short or long stay, but that in any case will breathe the air of vacation.
The choice of a single floor both in the kitchen / living area and in the bedroom and in the bathroom is dictated both by a logistical question, given the size, and by a stylistic one, as we wanted to harmonize everything with the warm tones of wood expertly used by Marazzi Ceramiche in a wood-effect porcelain stoneware: the collection chosen is Horizon in the Almond color, a warm shade that immediately brings to mind wood, sand. The tiles in the 12x50 cm format, easy to lay, offer an impact solution giving a textured surface and warm tones, having as advantages compared to parquet a high resistance to scratches, wear, easier maintenance and water repellency, quality so there is no doubt that it can be used in humid environments and in close contact with water such as in the kitchen and bathrooms.
To cover the wall occupied by the kitchen, the choice fell again on Marazzi, in this case on the Nordic White decoration from the Chroma collection, which, despite the name, offers shades ranging from the blue of the sky and the sea to the warm tones of sand and wood, thus marrying well with the chosen floor. The play of light brings to life the graphics of these 25x38 cm tiles, whose characteristic is the brilliance of the color.
